Day 2: In the Beginning
Well, that got off to a bad start.
Like countless others (no doubt), I intend to make 2010 a “special” year. I graduated last year, and have yet to bother job hunting. Part laziness, part convienience: what’s the rush, when I have a reasonably good part time job?
Well, it’s the new year, overtime has dried up, and I’m back to my standard 20 hour contract, with a lot of time on my hands. What better opportunity to get focussed?
Well, it’s gotten off to a bad start already: I planned to post a grandious decleration yesterday, laying out my plans, but by the time I came to do so, it was already late in the day. So then, here it is: Day 2, The beginning, part 1.
I want to challenge myself this year to make the most of my time, to do something constructive. So, taking a leaf out of Edgar Wrights book, I intend to chronicle my exploits and progression in 2010 (it’s pronounced “twenty ten”, FYI) with a photo a day.
Yesterday, you met some of the weapons in my arsenal, but for the first month, most images will no doubt be provided by this: my iPhone.
Not an original idea by any stretch, I know of at least 2 others doing a similar thing. However, I need some stimulant, and challenging myself to post at least a single photo each day, with short annotation, sounds like a good start.
Tomorrow, I shall further expand on my intentions, but for now, please enjoy this photo I took today in Anthropologie on Regent Street.
To be continued? You betcha
